The mission of City Greens is to provide access to fresh, quality and affordable produce to neighbors, to promote healthy living in the community, and to provide space for members to interact. City Greens, a community market, is a collaboration between Midtown and local Missouri farmers started in 2009. It is run by the Midtown staff and many volunteers. City Greens is main market entrance is on the south side of the old St. Cronan school building under the City Greens awning. The Supa Fresh Veggie Mobile is available for the same fresh produce and delicious staples at the following two locations and times: Tuesdays / Casa de Salud (3200 Chouteau Ave) from 9 to 11am Wednesdays / 39th and Russell (in the Shaw neighborhood) from 9 to 11am.
